When I visit my brother who lives near Las Vegas, I treat him to a hotel stay our last night together. Then I'm close to the airport the next day--we both win! We stayed at Tuscany in September of 2022 (you can see my review posted 9/13/22). Our second stay did not disappoint! Tuscany is still a great value with large, luxurious rooms, with enough distance from the craziness of the strip to be a tranquil oasis, but close enough be within walking distance. Both times staying here, we noticed maintenance people everywhere, fixing this, touching up that, making the place shine. Whatever age the place is, they keep it looking fresh and new. There was a fire alarm at 5:30 am, which was a false alarm, so we went right back to sleep. We found out later that it was someone tampering with the alarm system, so not the hotel's fault. Our only recommendation to the staff is that blackout curtains would be a good added touch. The room's curtains were only translucent, and let in some light in the morning. That wasn't a bother to us, but we thought that some guests might be more light-sensitive (especially if they were out partying the night before). The on-site restaurant (Marilyn's) is convenient, very good, and a good value for breakfast. Unless I'm gifted a penthouse stay in another hotel, this will continue to be THE place I will stay in Las Vegas. They now have my loyalty.

Not-so-good experience

The check-in experience was devastating as we were made to wait for 1.5 hrs just for that. We had a cranky baby all the while which the hotel staff didn't pay attention to. When we entered the room, the room was full of burning smell and the shower area also didn't work.

This is a nice, clean hotel available at good price. Pro: - Price is amazing, even after the resort fee. - The room is so spacious! And mostly really clean - except for the desk chair. - The bathroom is so spacious! Shower and bathtub are separate. - Coffee and breakfast available at the cafe was affordable and good enough. (I heard it's hard to find good coffee at reasonable price in Las Vegas.) Con: - The hotel cafe is attached to the casino, and was filled with cigarette smell. We ended up eating our food on the outside area. I assume that this is a common case with most hotels in Las Vegas. - We noticed dust / white powder on the desk chair. We wiped it ourselves, but questioned why room-keeping wouldn't have cleaned the chair. It was very visible when the room was dark. - No microwave - the 20 min walk to the strip was harder than I thought it would be I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Las Vegas again.

While it lacks the glamour and glitz of hotels on The Strip, the Tuscany Suites makes for a great practical choice when visiting Vegas. Location is good less than a mile from the Strip. It's a 15 min walk or a short inexpensive Uber. There is also free parking and the rates at the hotel represented good value for what is offered. Rooms aren't stylish but are large and comfortable. There are 2 pool areas, and the grounds of the hotel are well maintained.

Tuscany suites was awesome. The rooms are roomy suites. The grounds are very manicured and clean!! There are two pools, several restaurants, a showroom, pub, bar with live music, and of course a casino. The prices are reasonable since it is off the strip behind the Horseshoe. Very nice staff. Fitness center open 24’. Very comfort and clean rooms. Definitely will stay again.
